Shotover Wildlife Grassland Habitat Project

The Shotover Wildlife Grassland Habitat Project is SW's next big project. The proposed project, which has been welcomed by Shotover Manager Anthony Roberts, will deal with about 3-4 hectares of Horspath Common (towards the east side of Shotover) within which we will restore about 1 hectare of acid grassland from existing areas of bracken. The project will not only deliver a rich habitat, it will include sub-projects to survey, monitor and enhance vulnerable species, such as reptiles and incorporate the aesthetics of new views and notable trees.

If you would like to be involved in this exciting project contact SW.
