Surveys of moths are being undertaken through the year at Shotover in order to update
our records and current understanding of the moths profile in the reserve.
Shotover Wildlife moth enthusiasts have devised a methodology that provides an alternative to staying up late on
‘moth nights’. The surveys are providing new information for previously unrecorded habitats on the hill.
